Quantel shares its passion for post, DI and broadcast at IBC 2008 (13/8/2008)

Quantel will be out in force at IBC 2008 with its full range of post, DI and broadcast products on show. There will also be major new developments in several areas which will be unveiled on the stand.

Post & DI

New developments that boost workflow, connectivity and integration are on show. Visitors can see them in action on eQ, iQ and Pablo on every aspect of finishing, colour correction and deliverables across SD, HD, 2K, 4K and stereoscopic 3D. Also on show are new capabilities for Genetic Engineering, adding further value to open teamworking that optimises resource usage, workflow and revenue for post and DI houses.

IBC 2008 also marks the European debut of the stunning new Neo panel for Pablo. Visitors who want to experience Neo in action in the best possible environment can reserve a place in our on-stand grading theatre via our website.

Stereoscopic 3D

Stereoscopic 3D is a real hot topic today for post and broadcast. At IBC we'll be showing the latest in stereoscopic 3D in a purpose-built theatre on the stand. Visitors wishing to experience this special presentation of the most exciting and fastest growing area in film and television can pre-book their places before the show via our website.

Broadcast

Quantel broadcast systems are enterprise-wide and inclusive: desktop and mobile editing; integrated MAM; unique inter-site teamworking. At IBC we will be unveiling a major new development in editing workflow. Products on show are:

Enterprise sQ - server-based news and sports production systems
Mission - Quantel's naturally integrated MAM application
Dino - inter-site workflow for digital news and sports

"We're looking forward to sharing our passion for what we do with everyone involved in post, DI and broadcast that is visiting IBC," said Quantel Director of Marketing, Steve Owen. "It's a great place to compare and contrast and we're confident we have the business-led technology to help customers work smarter and achieve more, both creatively and profitably."
