Canon Shows BU-50H HD Indoor Pan Tilt Camera (23/10/2008)

An affordable system giving high quality remote images

Offering a menu of remote control capabilities both of the pan-tilt head and camera and lens functions, the new BU-50H will be the ideal tool for many indoor applications. The pan/tilt head contains an HD 3 CCD video camera with a built-in 20X zoom lens.

Flexible

The BU-50H protocol is non-proprietary , so the user or system integrator can provide their own control system - or use that of a third party provider.

High quality broadcast standard images Incorporated in the BU-50H is a 1/3 inch 3 CCD HD camera with 1,670,000 pixels per CCD. It offers exceptional HD/SD video quality for broadcasting, event coverage and many other applications - including high quality surveillance.

Zoom, focus and stabilization The 3 CCD HD camera incorporates a 20 times optical zoom HD lens (4.5 - 90mm), frame rate 50/25F, with an auto-focus function. The optical shift image stabilizer system gives exceptional range and high operability.

Multiple Interface possibilities The BU-50H can output an uncompressed HD-SDI and SD-SDI signal with audio embedded. Each SD (VBS) signal and the HD-SDI signal can be output simultaneously, which enables the user to record the HD-SDI signal for acquisition and the SD signal for monitoring. In addition, the BU-50H features a GENLOCK function for video system synchronization.

Hush-hush! The BU-50H is an extremely quiet system with a maximum noise level of NC30. So it is very well suited for operation in a quiet environment - conference, lecture or classical concert.

New Op-300 control unit for Canon PTZ cameras

The new OP-300 is applicable to Indoor pan-tilt BU-50H, and out-door pan-tilt BU-45H, NU-700. A system can be built with minimal input, as the control interface RS-422/ RS-232C (either one of them can be applied) is already installed. ?The unit is conveniently small - 215(W) x 72 (H) x 190 (D) mm weighing just 1.3 kg - and very economical.
