Grass Valley Takes New Products on the Road across Europe and the Middle East (29/6/2009)

Grass Valley™ is providing users across Europe and the Middle East the chance to get hands-on with its range of high-performance products for acquisition, production, and delivery. The scheduled dates for the road shows include (venues to be announced later):

· London, UK July 1-2
· Stockholm, Sweden August 12-13
· Weiterstadt, Germany August 19-20
· Warsaw, Poland August 26-27
· Dubai, UAE October 27-28

Grass Valley is unique in covering every aspect of the video content creation chain from cameras to transmitters, and this is reflected in the roadshow. Visitors will be able to see and compare the LDK 8000 top end high definition camera and the LDK 3000 affordable, CMOS-based HD camera, launched at NAB earlier this year. Alongside them will be the stunning new Kayenne™ Video Production Center switcher — with performance that far exceeds anything else in its class with an unprecedented six keyers on each M/E bank and as many as 20 DVE channels.

Also on display will be the K2 Summit™ production client and the K2 Dyno™ replay controller for high performance live server applications, including variable speed playback, at a remarkable price point. The Aurora™ 6.5 news production system and the latest release of the EDIUS® HD editing software packages will also be on display.

Delivery solutions demonstrated will include the ViBE family of high-performance compression encoders and the latest transmitter products for primary and gap filler applications for digital television and radio.

In these busy times, engineers, operators, and editors may not have had the opportunity to visit NAB or to be able to attend IBC in September, so Grass Valley is bringing its latest innovations to them.
