Bradley Engineering debuts HDC 100 small fully remote HD camera (21/7/2009)

Bradley Engineering is a specialist company offering cost-effective, space-saving remote camera solutions for all environments from underwater to aerial. The company's products are compact, fully integrated, easy to operate and rig with minimum cabling - providing complete plug -and-play capability. At IBC, Bradley Engineering will be unveiling a number of innovative new products.

WORLD DEBUT:

· HDC 100: Bradley Engineering is introducing the world's smallest fully remote HD camera. With a 100mm remote ball, the HDC 100 provides production facilities and crews with a miniature, fully equipped camera designed to operate in both friendly and hostile environments.

· Dual Fibre System: Bradley Engineering's new SMPTE-standard dual channel fibre system is specifically designed for remote camera applications. By using a variety of cables and connectors, the system delivers flexibility previously unavailable. The Bradley Engineering Dual Fibre system has several unique attributes: it uses both fibres as return HDSDI feeds with common data and power to two remote cameras; each fibre channel can be reversed to send reverse vision to a single remote camera position such as a commentary box; it uses a very small box at the receiving end; and is extremely cost-effective - probably the most competitive fibre system available.

· Gyro 350: A full size gyro stabilised camera system with five axes of active stabilisation, the Gyro 350 is fitted with a Canon 22:1 lens as standard and has various camera options. The new system offers increased lens angles and therefore better stabilisation. It is positioned at a very competitive price point for a top end gyro system making it an attractive proposition for broadcasters.

· U4_MC: The U4_MC is a motion controlled version of Bradley Engineering's popular U4_HD remote head. It has a positional accuracy that is better than 0.05 degrees and can be programmed to perform fully profiled moves or can be driven by a CGI computer.

· Track_MC: A self-contained, small, lightweight camera tracking system, Track_MC is motion controllable. The system comes in fixed lengths from 0.5 to 6m and can be joystick or motion control driven. It has a positional and repeatable accuracy that is better than 0.05mm over the whole track length and can be used in any orientation. Using multiple sections, a three-axis system can be built up to a 6m x 6m x 6m cube. Perfect for small studios producing news etc.

Bradley Engineering will also be demonstrating:

a.. HD10 miniature camera
b.. GY235 camera system on remote controlled helicopter
c.. Full range of remote heads
